Pittman Law Group is excited to announce that Attorney Jasmyne Henderson has been elected by her peers as the President-Elect of the Tallahassee Barristers Association. Started in 1975, the Barristers Association has worked to protect the honor and integrity of the legal profession while enhancing the role of Black practitioners of the law.
“Much of my civic engagement has involved the empowerment of underrepresented and marginalized communities. The Barristers have a remarkable history of representing and empowering minorities throughout the Big Bend Region, and I am honored to continue this rich tradition next year as president,” said Attorney Henderson, a 2015 graduate of Florida State University’s College of Law.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in the Summer of 2016, Attorney Henderson has quickly established herself as an active member of the legal community through her service on the Florida Bar’s Committee on Government and Public Policy Advocacy and participation in Tallahassee Legal Aid Foundation’s Thunderdome Class 3. CEO and Attorney Sean Pittman had this remark,
“Jasmyne continues to set the standard for young attorneys in the Tallahassee area, and this recognition affirms that very sentiment. We are proud to have her as a member of the team and cannot wait to see what she will accomplish as the leader of the Tallahassee Barristers,” said Sean Pittman, Senior Attorney and CEO of Pittman Law Group.
